driving without license

that was yujie. not me. an accomplice perhaps. or an instigator? erps. well it all started when i was gonna park and asked if he wanted to try. he grabbed the opportunity and did so under my watchful, alert eyes. we had dinner, did a home visit, and then i asked if he wanted to go back to my place (he was staying over), or he wanted to go to a desolate location to drive around. obviously he chose the latter.

and so we went to east coast and i found a nice car park and we changed over. i was probably living under the illusion that i was a qualified driving instructor and taught him how to drive from starting the engine to adjusting the seats and all. he went around and round the car park till we both got bored. he was actually pretty damn good for a beginner!! i mean, i remember how terrible i was as a new driver. relative to him, i was damn sad la. but in all fairness to me, i was driving a manual car back then. ohwell, after a while, i drove to another car park, a bigger one, where we could explore new things.

yujie tried turning, u-turning, 3-point turning, even parking. his judgement was much better than mine initially i must say. but obviously i am much more confident behind the wheel now. i mean, i drive at 120 sometimes. haha. it comes with more experience la. 2 months in and i'm seem to have no problems (or less).

besides steering and returning when turning, i think yujie's driving's great! unbelievable that this is the dude who failed basic theory! hahahahaha. at least i beat him in theory! ahwells, it was a fun night i must say. even for me, sitting in a car which speed was never exceeding 40, and rarely above 30. obviously he had a lot more fun than i did. but it was fun for me too.

that's it. i got him hooked. it's fun. and he probably wants to do it again. our secret. between yujie, myself and this secret blog. hahaha.
