new year resolutions 2006

wow wee. havent posted here in like more than a year i think. new year resolutions...

  1. lose more weight. by the end of 2006, i shd be able to fit into a size 30 or 32 comfortably and weigh um...75-80 kg? the inches will be used as the standard yardstick in this case with size 32 being the minimum i must attain.
  2. exercise on a regular basis, at least 3 times a week.
  3. maintain a healthy state of finances. be more thrifty, ie, spend less on food and needless shopping and cab rides. sell off some of my stuff to get some money. by the end of 2006, i shd have at least S$1200 in savings, that's an average of S$100 a month, even after the overseas trips.
  4. give uni apps my best shot. get into oxford if god permits. otherwise, lse.
  5. read up on econs, politics and philosophy. at least 1 book on politics and philosophy and 2 on econs.
  6. get my 3sg rank.
  7. develop better relationships with my colleagues.
  8. meet up with long lost friends and maintain the friendships - liyu, michelia, jamin, hissoc pple, liyang, chs pple etc.
  9. love life and love myself.
  10. stop wasting time on meaningless things.
  11. pray seriously every day. trust god more. read the bible at least 3 times a week.
  12. try to bring my close friends to christ - yan da, ritchie etc.
  13. keep in touch with overseas friends - flor, xiu, mel, jo, jill etc.
  14. respect my parents more.
  15. visit my grandmother more. on top of her birthday, cny, mother's day and christmas, i should see her at least 3 more times throughout the year.
  16. develop better relations with my brothers. offer shijun help in studies.
  17. give my students my best shot. take tuition seriously.
  18. visit my rabbits more often, at least once to twice a month.
  19. get attached if ms right comes along??
  20. find a job for after ord before the end of the year.
  21. look through these resolutions at least once in two months to make sure i am on track and make adjustments to expectations if need be, hopefully adjustments for the better.

all right. my new year resolutions for 2006. i think i covered almost all facets of life and anw, i could continually add them in. first time i write my resolutions down and it's such a lengthy list and quite specific too. i'm impressed. haha.
